How to Analyse Your Railway Mock Test Result

Most aspirants attempt plenty of Railway mock tests and analyse almost none of them. The analysis is where the marks actually come from.
Read the numbers in the right order
Start with accuracy, not score. Accuracy tells you whether your understanding is sound. Score mixes understanding with luck and guessing.
Then look at attempted questions. Low attempts with high accuracy means you are too slow or too cautious; high attempts with low accuracy means you are guessing.
Split your mistakes into three buckets
Concept mistakes mean you did not know the topic. These go straight back into your study plan.
Silly mistakes mean you knew it but misread or miscalculated. Track how many you make; if the count does not fall over four tests, slow down slightly during the paper.
Time mistakes mean you spent three minutes on a question worth one mark. Practise leaving such questions and marking them for review.
Turn the analysis into next week's plan
Pick the two weakest topics from the subject-wise report and give them your study hours for the coming week. Do not try to fix everything at once.
Re-attempt the same style of questions after a week and compare accuracy. That comparison, repeated over a couple of months, is the clearest signal of your preparation level.
